He spent four years in Hawaii before returning to California, where he completed his high school education at Carmel High School. Subsequently, he pursued higher education at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, graduating with a degree in communications in 2008.

His Career

Scott Eastwood initially started his career by using his given last name to avoid any accusations of nepotism, even though there was another actor with the name Scott Reeves. He candidly mentioned in 2015 that he had auditioned for nearly all of his father’s films but was turned down for the Clint Eastwood-directed American Sniper.

His early appearances include a brief role in his father’s 2008 film Gran Torino and portraying Joel Stransky in Invictus. As his career progressed, in April 2010, Eastwood took on the lead role in Enter Nowhere and played a supporting part in David Ayer’s 2014 film Fury. He also made an appearance in Taylor Swift’s music video for “Wildest Dreams” in 2015 and starred alongside Britt Robertson in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel The Longest Ride.

In 2016, he played the character Lieutenant GQ Edwards in the film Suicide Squad, which is an adaptation of the DC Comics series. That same year, he featured in the biographical drama film Snowden, alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley, directed by Oliver Stone.

The following year, 2017, saw Eastwood in the role of a special agent in the action film The Fate of the Furious and as the star of the thriller film Overdrive, which was shot in Paris and Marseille. In 2018, he took on the role of Nate Lambert in the science fiction sequel Pacific Rim Uprising.

His Former Girlfriend

Hobby, and Personal life

Eastwood’s journey into martial arts, particularly Brazilian jiu-jitsu, began after he was introduced to it by the late Paul Walker.

Reflecting on his experiences in the entertainment industry, Eastwood has likened it to being part of a circus. He expressed that while it can be an incredible and exhilarating world, the constant traveling and demands of the profession can be challenging. He also shared concerns about the prospect of starting a family, acknowledging that he aspires to have one someday and ponders how that might look with the responsibilities of his career taking him away from his family.
